Yeah. It's an oversize select button. And the only time I found the touch pad actually useful was for the zoom in terraria.
Heck, the only time I ever enjoyed the sixaxis functionality was in KZ2 for the switches/bombs. I thought that was really cool. And maybe some sprinklings here and there. Like twing-twang and balancing in the first Uncharted which they removed from the new UC collection because even the devs thought it was stupid.

I loved Bloodborne, but it felt like it was missing a lot of content and didn't have the same staying power of the other souls games. I have personally spent 500-700 hours on each souls game, but became bored after 300 hours in BB. Great game, but I feel the Witcher can give it a run for its money. And I am hoping that MGSV will take the lead by a mile. I am a huge MGS fan!

People just like to label things. We label everything we see. What's the difference between a deer and an antelope? If we analyze everything down to its smallest parts our whole world stops making sense, but as a whole we can see what certain things lean towards. And then label them.
Just because a banana is a sweet fruit doesn't make it an apple. And gros michel bananas are not cavendish bananas. We have different labels for them as well. The "gamer" nomen...

So what do we call the "real gamers" now? You know, the ones that own multiple consoles, play for at least 4-6 hours a day, get exited as they watch E3 every year, and have theories for the plots/timelines of long running franchises. Guess we have to find a new name since everyone and their dog wants ours.
